During the year you may have earned different types of income that each have their own form or referred to by Tslip.
Some examples of income are:
- T4 slip – Employment income
- T5 slip – Investment income
- T4E slip – EI
- T4RSP slip – a RRSP that you have cashed in
- T5018 slip – Subcontractors statement
- NR4 slip – income from a foreign source
- T3 slip – interest or divides
- T5007 slip – WCB or Social Services
- T4RIF slip – generally if you are retired you will receive from RRSP account
- T4A slip – other income (self-employed, retirement benefits paid out, medical premiums paid)
- T4A (P) slip – Canada Pension Plan
- T4OAS slip – Old age security
Most commonly missed is RC62 which is benefits for children under 7 that you receive from child tax

It is a criminal offence not to claim income from all sources.
